Career Assessments
The Career Center offers a wide variety of individualized career
assessments ranging from a full battery of vocational tests to options tailored to answer
specific client needs. Basic career tests include: The Strong Interest Inventory;
Myers Briggs Type Inventory; and Career Anchors. Additional tests are available to
evaluate aptitude, psychological traits, learning styles, as well as specific skill
assessments. Your counselor can tell you about all the possibilities.
Research Your Career
Use the specialized resources in the Career Center Library to identify job opportunities.
Image Awareness
This workshop focuses on image/appearance and making a great first impression. Workshop
participants should come "dressed" as if they are going on an interview.
Self-Directed Career Search
This workshop is designed to help individuals identify and focus interests
and abilities into a general career path. Multi-media resources will be used to
explore occupations.
Winning Negotiation Strategies
Learn effective techniques to negotiate salary, benefits and promotions.
