Career Assessments
JVS offers a wide variety of individualized career assessments ranging from a full
battery of vocational tests to options tailored to answer specific client needs.
Basic career tests include: The Strong Interest Inventory, Myers Briggs Type
Inventory and Career Anchors. Additional tests are available to evaluate aptitude,
psychological traits, learning styles, as well as specific skill assessments. Your
counselor can tell you about all the possibilities.
Managing a Career Change in a Complex Job Market
How to manage career change as independent stakeholders in today's volatile world of work
in which you must take charge of your own career path.
Professional Career Nights
Professional Career Nights are open to all JVS clients. Several professionals representing
different vocations host a panel discussion of current trends, job descriptions,
opportunities, and requirements of their fields. Each Career Night is planned to
accommodate the needs of as many Career Center clients as possible. After the
presentations, there is time for questions and brief individual conversations.
